Did you know that our learners are expected to dress professionally for their presentations and interviews?
You can help by donating professional attire to the Academy’s Professional Clothing Closet. Some learners do not own professional clothes or do not know what is meant by “professional dress.” The AHS closet is a great resource and is open to all students!
We are currently accepting donations of professional clothing such as:
- Professional suits and separates for both men and women of all sizes
- Scarves, handbags, shoes belts for both men and women
- Ties, men's dress socks, and dress shoes
- Women’s dress shoes, especially in black, brown, navy and beige
All clothing donations must be:
Something you would feel comfortable wearing in an interview yourself, so please donate only those things that are in good condition, clean, pressed and less than five years old and/or contemporary in style.
To Donate Clothing:
Please bring to the Academy Receptionist, Sharon Chappelear.
If you have a connection to professional attire and/or retail hardware and would like to participate in our cause, we would love to speak with you. Please contact Kim Kamen for further information.
Thank you in advance for your contribution!!!
